Privacy Policy

Jjot takes your privacy seriously. This policy outlines what information we collect and how we use it:

We only collect information that's necessary to use our service

For each account, we collect a username, password, and an optional email address.

If you choose to invite people to Jjot, or send them notes from your noteboard, your email address will be shared with them. It will not be shared with anyone else.

When sharing a noteboard, we collect a "display name" or nick name, which is visible to other users.

Your note information is stored in private, securely

All of your notes are private, protected by your password, unless you explicitly share your noteboard. All notes on shared noteboards are visible by other users.

Your note information is stored on computers hosted in Amazon's secure EC2 infrastructure.

We will not share your private noteboards with third parties.

Jjot employees respect the privacy of users, and may need to access note information only to repair any damaged or broken user accounts.
